Friday, July 3rd

Setup Crew (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Prep campsites, hang signage, set up Posse Park.
Welcome & Check-In (12:30 PM – 4:00 PM): Greet campers and direct RVs/tents to their spots.
Afternoon Activities (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Help run the hayrides, pony rides, and games.
Dinner & Potluck Team (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM): Grill burgers/hot dogs, clean up tables.
Evening Campfire Monitor (7:30 PM – 10:00 PM): Assist at the fire pit (pending local restrictions).
Medical Person (4:30 PM – 10:00 PM): Onsite medical person for any potential injuries.

Saturday, July 4th

Morning Wrap-Up & Clean-up (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM): Assist campers checking out, empty trash, pack up gear.

This is a fun hometown, small town festival. There is food, vendors, tractor pull, car show, music, games and lots of fun. Represent the ranch to share about our mission, volunteer opportunities, as well as our programs.

We have a booth at Elbert Day Festival this year. There will be a parade, other vendors, food, music, and games. It is held in the historic town of Elbert.  Snacks and water will be provided.  You will help set up or tear down, tell the folks about ranch programs, educate them about volunteer and donation opportunities, as well as sell hats and t-shirts.  Thank you so much for being willing to help out.  It really makes a difference!

Our First Responder Buckaroo Days are coming up fast. We are seeking volunteers to help us serve and show appreciation to the first responder families who will be coming to the ranch for a day of fun. New volunteers are welcome, but will need to attend a short training. Volunteers are needed for check-in, games, horse handlers (must be experienced), crafts and more.

This is a Go Team event in Colorado Springs for law enforcement and those who support them. It is outside at a Acacia Park from 2-6 pm.

Join our prayer coordinator Brenda Gregory at the ranch Tuesday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am to pray over the ranch!
